Mencap is a charity that is passionate about changing the world for everyone with a learning disability. Their vision is a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included.
We have worked with Mencap since 2021. Recruitment within the care industry was already a struggle, then we were hit with a global pandemic. The pandemic, amongst many other economic issues, has led to an industry-wide shortage of carers, something that Charities like Mencap, feel the wrath of. Mencap realised that inbound leads were becoming less frequent and wanted to discuss how we could help get their job vacancies in front of potential candidates and in turn increase quality applications.
We have been consistently working alongside Mencap since December 2021, supporting them to market job roles in specific areas through Google Search Ads (PPC) and Facebook Advertising. For this, we developed eye-catching content & targeted an audience who lived within a certain radius of the vacancy.
There is an urgent need within Mencap for caring people to join their team of brilliant support workers across the country who provide vital support for those living with a learning disability. However, thanks to the work that the team at Mocha Marketing have put in, Mencap are starting to see a real difference in the quantity and quality of candidates applying for support worker roles.
Incorporating social media advertising and PPC into their marketing strategy means that Mencap has gained a 59% increase in applications and a 29% increase in applications to hire. They have also seen their highest engagement when it comes to audience reach, job ad clicks and engagement.
These results have exceeded expectations and have even generated more leads than job boards such as Indeed TotalJobs.
